Good large bedroom and friendly staff
The rooms, bathrooms, and the buffet.
Free wifi, large room, the food was exellent
Cleaning ladies left the balcony doors open, giving easely access from neighboring rooms
It was something wrong with direct e-mail connunication with the hotel. Two of my e-mails were not received/answered.
The location, just a few minutes walk from an excellent beach. Free parking. Right next to the station. ( The trains are virtually silent). The wide choice of food. The swimming pool and gardens are very nice.
The food was often barely warm even when it was just put out. The outside of the hotel looks a bit grim and almost put us off booking in. The beds were quite hard. The airconditioning was good but only works when the key-card is in the slot.
Location. Train station next to hotel but causes no problems. Spacious rooms and bbc television. Very pleasant gardens and outdoor facilities,eg. Pools and terraces. Five minutes walk to the beach but set in a peacful location. Very efficient daily cleaning.
Poor choice of food(if any) for vegetarians. If you are a meat eater you will be well served. Can get busy at meal times leading to queing for coffee etc. Only 2 lifts, and again it can be very busy. Hard beds take some getting use to. Would I stay at this hotel again: yes.
It was an excellent stay, However 2 things wouldbe helpful:: Please say thtait is nearTorreblanca station. Fromthe description you couldthink it was near Fuengirola station. However the hotel was quiet with no road noise or train disturbance. An excellent 2nights Carole Bennett
The name of the hotel was misleading. It is called Hotel Torreblanca and we got really lost in the darktrying to find it CAROLE BENNETT
The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean, it had quite alot of little extras, and we wanted for nothing, It even had english channels on television, It was near to all amenities, and close to train station, I would not hesitate to book again, Well done to all the staff, It was a pleasure to stay. Kind Regards Frank and Lorraine Moss
The hotel was clean. The Restaurant was good value for money. The staff were excellent in the Restaurant. Hotel was minutes away from the Train Station. Trains in either direction every 20 mins. It worked out cheaper than the buses because we had a child under 6yrs (free) I would stay again for short, last minute break in the sun.
The hotel room was very dated. It needed a fresh coat of paint. We had booked a family room and seen the lay out on the website. It wasnt the same. We had 3 adults and 1 child. The room was large but had 4 full sized single beds pushed together which took up the whole of the room. There was no room between the beds. However the beds were preferable to having a bed settee to sleep on I would not have wished to stay on the other side of the Hotel which overlooked an apartment block and the Railway Station Not a lot for children to do
The price level and food are very good.
The cleaning of the room could be better.
When booking I asked for a room near the front & I got a room with a beautiful view at the front of the hotel. The staff are very friendly & helpful & the food is plentiful & varied. My room was a good size, cleaned daily with a change of towels & sheets as required all rooms have a balcony. For the travellers who like to book their own flights etc. the train from Malaga airport(which is electric so no noise) leaves you 2 minutes from the hotel so no taxi's etc. There ie entertainment in the hotel nightly & the price of drink is very reasonable. I have just finished my 4th. visit in 18 months & would recommend Hotel Monarque Torreblanca highly.
Great position for motorway, train station and buses. The hotel is in a quiet location but still close to all attractions. The breakfast was buffet style and there was a great selection off food hot or cold something for everyones choice. This hotel will see me again
We selected the Hotel Torreblanca because of its location, although quite far along from the centre of Feungirola the hotel is right next to Torreblanca railway station (no noise) and the train system is a great way of getting about. We were impressed with the excellent size of both the bedroom and the bathroom, plus there is a fairly large hallway which makes the facility more of a suite than a bedroom. In the bedroom there was plenty of storage for clothes. As already mentioned, the decor is a bit dated but very clean. We also liked the outside terrace of the hotel and the gardens with pools. We would go back to this hotel and be happy to stay for longer than the one night we booked next time we are in the area.
Only two lifts, one of which was not operational.
My room was large with a balcony with good view over the pool and out to sea. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive and the pool areas very pleasant. The hotel has parking and is really close to a train station to explore the area.
My booking had not come through to the hotel when I arrived at 8pm (I booked at midday). The receptionist was pretty rude and assumed I was wrong, however once I used the wifi to get to my confirmation email she found me a room immediately. On my last day the housekeeper barged into my room twice while I was getting ready - surely they have some system so that they find out from reception whether people have checked out? It was way before check out time. The hotel was expensive compared to other places I stayed in Spain, in what is not a particularly nice resort. I booked last minute (in August) and it was all I could find on the coast but it was a bit overpriced. Wifi is only in the lobby.
The staff was wonderful!
I could not eat the breakfast...it was buffet style and everything I tried was terrible.
